Tip: Soft Serving Trick
To serve, try using the left trigger until the level of the power reaches center (denoted by an orange color indicator, by the side). Then use your D pad to point to the left. This will enable the ‘soft serve’ directed to the left. The computer will strive hard for the ball and when he returns the ball to you, use ‘A’ or ‘X’ button to hit it. The D pad must direct the hit to the right.
The opponent will never get the second shot. However, at times the opponent is smart enough to return it vertically to your court instead of diagonally to you. This applies especially to M. Chang and Kroenig.
