Ninja Gaiden cheat
On Chapter 7 right after you beat the first boss for this level (big squigly armed guy), you'll come to a room called "The Chamber of Everlasting Sleep". Get the skull key and open the door to the tunnel.
Kill the bats but DONT GO PAST THE LAST BAT. If you do it will go to the cut scene where the tunnel floods.
Now head back down the tunnel to The Chamber of everlasting sleep. If you go back in the tunnel you'll notice the bats respawned. Dont kill them yet.
Go back through the gate where the skull door is. It will show the name of the room when you enter. Now just walk back and forth between in that door between the tunnel and the chamber. I found about 5 times is the best. Do it too much and your Xbox will freeze. Dont forget count the first time you go through. Now go back in the tunnel and "Holy Batcave, Batman" you'll find that it just kept respawning about 30 bats!
Jump into those batty's with your vigorian flail and they all die in a couple swings leaving you in a pile of yellow orbs.
Kill the rest of the bats. DONT GO PAST THE LAST ONE. And repeat.
You get about 1000-1200 gold each run. And theres a shop close buy if you back track and a save point. I found this an easy way to level up the wooden sword quickly. Its teadious but it works.
