Once back inside Hogwarts, don't go in the way you originally did by going right and down the corridor. Professor Snape is there, and if he sees you, you'll be sent back to the statue. Instead, with Hermione go left and up the stairs. Approach the rug on the wall and burn it down with draconifors. Go through the next room and then switch to Harry when you're on the ledge. Jump down to the floor below (skipping the area where Snape was completely), and then go to the grand staircase. Run all the way up to the seventh floor, talk to peeves, and then take the detour to the Gryffindor common room, through the west wing. To pass by the large trolls guarding the detour use Ron's Dungbombs to distract them (throwing one around a troll will make them go towards it), and run around them.
