Tip: Hidden Sniper Area
On the Silent Cartographer level, you can get on top of it. Once you get the warthog, go to the spot before the hunters (Huge ones with big guns) where there are a bunch of the shield aliens. It is possible to get past the tree that blocks the entrance to the path to get to the hunters. Line up to an opening on either side of the tree, floor the warthog and steer so that the warthog pops throgh the gap. Then go up the hill to the rock in the middle of the path. Get the warthog stuck on the left side between the rock and the hill. Go kill the hunters and get an over shield. Then, go back to the warthog, jump on the gun and get a plasma grenade out. Throw the grenade on the gun, right at your feet and jump right before it blows. The explosion should push you up and there is a little spot that is possible to land on. Once you're up you can snipe in alot of places and look around, but have alot of ammo cause you'll establish a checkpoint up there. It's really cool.
