Rogue synthetic life - hint
When Fighting against the rogue synthetic life, do not go up onto the top of the ramp prior to placing sentry mines at the closed double gates. Sentry mines do not have appreciable effects on the synthetic (I had him walk on three on them and he still killed me). Instead, place them spread out in front of the inaccessible gates. Once you kill the synthetic life, more enemies will scramble through the gate. By placing the mines there first, you will likely keep a weakened member of your team alive.
